2018 quick Q&A with Pro Street
Racer: Jordan Haase
Years Racing: 19 years, 2 years in Pro Street
Racing Motorcycle Type: Turbo Pro Street Suzuki Hayabusa
(Q) Favorite win?
(A) “IHRA Iron Man & my 1st Pro Street round win.”
(Q) Toughest Race?
(A) “2017 Battle Royale – Struggled in qualifying and got paired up with my teammate Ehren Litten. Ran a 6.96 to his 6.93 to lose by .005. It was a great side by side pass and a lot of fun.”
(Q) Craziest Experience?
(A) “That’s a tough one. But I have to say it would be May 9, 2015, John let me ride his Pro Street bike for the first time at our local track Keystone Raceway Park outside of Pittsburgh. I ran 8.06 at 175mph that night which was almost 2 seconds faster than I had ever been. The shutdown at the track is short and I wasn’t sure if I would make the turn once I shut off but it was no problem. The feeling of the power/speed and to know my dream growing up was finally a reality was an experience I will never forget.”
(Q) ) What advice would you give someone wanting to enter the class of pro street ?
(A) “Chase your dreams, work hard for it and never give up. Enjoy every experience along the way and appreciate every opportunity.“
