Harrity4Charity x NOVA Disc Golf Ass’n present Disc Golfers Have Heart II (CEP Charity – Rated)
Forest Valley DGC is a really tough course and many of us struggled as we fought through this wall of woods we had to battle through. My Saturday and Sunday rounds were only one stroke part but the Saturday round was far more controlled. I believe one of my struggles with my game is that I have not been able to devote time every day to practicing and refining my disc arsenal. That will soon change but for this event too much got away from me on Sunday. We had some ugly weather Saturday morning but it cleared out quickly and did not ruin our event. The Saturday night players’ party was a lot of fun as I got to play with a few people I had played with before. I managed to win at least a cool disc during the raffle (shown below) and when I get a place will proudly put it on my wall. The Saturday evening event was a lot of fun and I even got to meet Miss Virginia which was cool she seemed like a nice person. Sunday was super nice but my game was not where it needed to be. I was not unhappy with my throws (OK maybe I was a bit) but some of them were just some bad kicks and unlucky breaks along the way. Nothing really went into the toilet but I do need to practice my 150 to 180 forearm low right hook for these tight wooded courses.
