DisKGolfN States

Last edit/update 11-5th-2023:

I’m not a coach, pro, or even consider myself a pro-amateur; I’m just an old traveling disc golf guy trying to have fun and get better. It’s hard to do well on a new course because I don’t know it, but that’s the fun of this. To experience it for the first time and share the experience, good or bad, sometimes the bad is bad and comes with the foul language that goes along with it. YOU are warned sensitive hears might be offended. To get good at a course, you need to play it a few times and get the lay of the land. Play a few games, try different routes and discs, and get a feel for the course. Then you will get an actual game score to build on. A lot of my games on this course are bad. In the future, I hope to be back in the areas and improve on them, but I’m ok playing a few just once..

  • ⛳️ States where I have played at least one game, which has been saved to U-Disc.
  • 🎯 At least one Tournament Played in this state
  • Twenty-One Tournaments completed so far in 2023
  • 🆕 for 2023, all others are for 2022
  • I started playing in June 2022 and started using UDisc in July after some Disc Golfers told me about it
  • These are not how many games but separate courses; the number of games played is much higher.
  • The goal was to have 150 courses done by July 15th, 2023 (1 year). I got 150 on June 14th, 2023.
  • I took driving and control Lessons at the close of 2022 at the Local Route Disc Golf Shop in Clearwater, Florida.
  • The most demanding course so far is The Liar Marshell Lake East Virginia. Panther Creek, Tennessee, is a close second.
  • So far, the most challenging disc golf game was in Tucumcari, New Mexico; I dealt with 28 to 35mph winds gusting to 40+ mph.
  • Most Games in a day 10-27-22 Five 18’s on 10-27-22
  • Most Courses in a day 12-09-22 Five = 2 Oklahoma+ 3 Kansas
  • Most states hit in one day Three; Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia.
  • The worst course played so far is Pharaoh’s Tomb Virginia.
  • ACE: yes, but only one, and it is noteworthy because my brother-in-law was with me. Chris Foster and I played on a Sunday, and I hit an ace on hole 13 at Barnett Park Orlando. I wish Chris were still with us. He would love where the sport is today.
  • I only count the ACES I get during a scored/recorded game.
